Google Adsense is, without any shadow of a doubt, one of the best opportunities for both new and experienced internet marketers to earn online. In a nutshell, you paste some code onto your website or blog, Google display adverts on your site and, whenever anyone clicks on one of the ads, you get paid by Google.

There is no cost to join, no downline to build, no product to ship. All you have to do is get visitors to your site - a certain percentage of them will click on the ads - and you'll make money.

If you don't have your own website yet, you can host your ads on a blog. You can get a free account at blogger.

A relatively new development are blogging co-operatives where your ads will be hosted 50% of the time and the admins ads will be hosted 50% of the time. You benefit from the easy set up and the traffic and the hosts benefit from you providing content. It's a symbiotic arrangement and could be a good first step if you're not entirely sure what to do. The Implix Affiliate Scheme  is completely free to join and allows you to promote autoresponders, website builders, e-book creators, ad trackers etc. All of the products are very high quality and in high demand among internet marketers - so you have a ready made target audience.

Start Earning Online: AWeber Affiliate Scheme

The Aweber Affiliate Scheme is similar to Implix's - the exception being that only autoresponders are available for you to promote. However, since autoresponders are such an important element in online marketing, that's no problem.

The scheme is free to join and you will get plenty of advice when setting up. The two products are in competition - but there is no problem if you wish to promote both of them. Again this offers you a good chance to earn some residual income for zero setup cost.

All of the above schemes are free to join. However, you should realise that you will need to promote these in order to enjoy success. If you want to get off to a flying start then PPC (Pay Per click) advertising can work really well.
